Coldgassprayed layers in the engines, machinery and equipment
General
|
State of the art:
Since about ten years before it was recognized that potential behind the COLDGAS-coating technology is, many patents that deal with the engine coldgasspraying employ, for example to the "manufacture of cylinder liners for cans cylinder bores from the interior combustion blocks" from 2001.

Coldgas sprayed sealing surface of a cylinder head
Example sealing surfaces & Rotary Seals
|
Advantage:
- the sealing layer is applied directly to one of the two, either on both machines connected sprayed parts, the traditional poetry falls away
- spray the sealing layer is gas-tight and still ductile, it adapts itself to the sites under the force of counter space to
- it has greater resistance to thermal and mechanical stress
- it allows a much better heat transfer between the components to joining
- they can simply sanded on or off and repeated can be applied
Applications:
- Sealing surfaces in the engine, e.g. Cylinder head gaskets
- Exhaust Gaskets
- Seal joined by conical tubes
- High-performance rotating seals
- High pressure seals in chemical reactors

Berolina Metallspritztechnik:
The Berolina Metallspritztechnik Wesnigk GmbH is already working since mid-2007, together with a German university and one of the world's largest plant producers, to develop a coating that seals the flat mechanical parts to make unnecessary.
